We booked a fantastic, customized trip through Go Local. Pepijn and I created a program that met our needs. Just before the trip, we received a helpful personalized travel guide with all the necessary information. During the trip, everything was well organized, and we didn't have to do much ourselves. The guides (some Dutch-speaking) were very knowledgeable about the country and the activities. We had excellent communication throughout the trip regarding any questions or changes to the program.

Schaeffers Family We went to Ecuador with our family this summer via Go Local Travel. We had a fantastic holiday there. It was certainly worthwhile for our sons, aged 22, 20, and 19, as well. The many possibilities and great variety in the landscape make Ecuador a fantastic holiday destination. The cities, the Andes, volcanoes, the Amazon, and the sea. We enjoyed it!! J J The organization by Go Local Travel was very good. They know the country like the back of their hand. Pepijn and his local staff responded well to our wishes. Going to Ecuador with Go Local Travel as your travel organization is highly recommended!!

What a fantastic trip we had to Peru! We shared all our wishes in advance, and together with Pepijn, we created a wonderful, personalized tour. You then received a personalized travel guide with even more tips. During the trip, everything was perfectly arranged with our local contact, Orlando. Every question was answered immediately. If there was a problem, it was resolved immediately. We can only praise this organization.

We were promised a unique and adventurous trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos, and that's exactly what our trip turned out to be. What stunning nature and culture! The accommodations were also exceptional without exception, although we did have some reservations about some of them. For example, the accommodation in Chugchilan felt like a 1960s youth hostel, and the one in Guayaquil strongly resembled a student house from around the same time. In contrast, however, there were the gems of Papallacta, Puerto Lopez, and Santa Cruz, and the accommodation on Isabela had a heavenly quality. The other accommodations were, above all, strategically well-chosen. We would especially like to mention the Siona Lodge. With its extremely primitive design, this lodge exuded a vibrant Amazon atmosphere and made its guests feel like pioneers in this region. This feeling was especially evident during and after dinner, resulting in very enjoyable evenings. The Galapagos were truly heavenly. The primal quality of Bartolomé and the otherworldly vegetation of the Plazas are unique in the world, and Isabela absolutely takes the cake as a tropical surprise. What a fantastic island! However, the impressions of the Amazon (including freshwater dolphins), the Andes (insanely high volcanoes and indigenous markets), and Puerto Lopez (leaping whales) should not be forgotten. In short: our holiday in Ecuador was a particularly successful adventure, for which we sincerely thank Pepijn from Go Local for his advice and dedication.

It's already been mentioned in many reviews, but if you ever want to go to Ecuador, Pepijn from Go Local Travel is your man. We discussed our wishes thoroughly, and it must be said, all flights, hotels, drivers, and trips were arranged. On time and with just the right atmosphere and level of comfort. Besides the Amazon, Andes, and Galapagos, we also wanted to see the humpback whales, and although it's a bit out of the way, it's definitely worth it. We paid a little more and were able to join the biologists in Puerto Lopez, getting up close to the many, many humpback whales. The town itself is actually very relaxing, so highly recommended. The guidebook and the map :-) make it perfect. Fantastic!!

It was great to have booked our trip through GoLocal. The trip is completely tailored to your preferences, and you receive a handy booklet with information about the places you'll visit and how to get there. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Ecuador & Galapagos! Thank you Pepijn and your colleagues; we would definitely do it again.

Go Local offered us a fantastic trip. It exceeded our expectations. The beauty of Ecuador is that it has everything, and you don't need to go anywhere else in South America :-): jungle, rainforest, mountains/Andes, beautiful and fun places with a local touch (Quito, Otavalo, Mindo, Banos), and the ocean with an abundance of marine life! We were lucky enough to see dolphins, whales, sea lions, and sea turtles, and snorkeling felt like swimming in an aquarium. The Andes were fantastic and took us to great heights (5,000 meters). The interstitial drives were also phenomenal, as you drove through different landscapes, changing every half hour. We also saw so many animals in the jungle. We never felt unsafe. All the accommodations were excellent; clean, spacious, and the breakfasts were delicious. In short, nothing to complain about. Ecuador stole our hearts. Go Local, thank you for this unforgettable experience!

A tour through Ecuador had been a dream come true for us for years. Pepijn from Go Local put it together perfectly this summer (2025). He listened carefully to our wishes, and as a result, the trip far exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommended if you want to see and do a lot, but don't want to travel with a large group.

I highly recommend having Go Local Travel plan your trip for you. We took a 27-day private tour through Ecuador. We had specific requests, and Pepijn from Go Local Travel took them into account, resulting in a truly unique and special tour. The highlight of our trip was also our highest point: hiking to an altitude of 5,100 meters at the Chimborazo volcano and then mountain biking 46 km through beautiful and impressive surroundings. The flora and fauna of the Andean cloud forests were also magnificent, and the area around Cosanga is highly recommended for nature lovers. After booking the tour with Go Local Travel, we received a personalized booklet containing our tour and additional information. It was also helpful that our contacts were easy to reach during the trip, should anything go wrong or should we have any questions. Pepijn is also very dedicated. Just before the trip, he contacted us about any potential problems we might have with our arrival at our hotel. His dedication was evident throughout the trip, and upon returning home, we received a lovely surprise. We really appreciated this. If you're considering a trip to Ecuador, contact Go Local Travel. Their pricing is also very competitive compared to other providers (in our case, it saved us thousands of euros for almost the exact same trip with other organizations). We've taken several tours, and this one, organized by Go Local Travel, stands out.

Amazing service!! Found them last minute using AI (10 days before departure!!!) and they've put together the most amazing tour across Peru, Bolivia (Salar de Uyuni) and Ecuador (Galapagos) on a super short notice! they took care of everything - flights, buses, transfers from and to everywhere, accommodations, recommendations on the days or half days off, instructions what to pack, what not to miss on local food, drinks, places to go, the experiences/adventures/tours, plus also 24h support for whenever I had questions, issues, or simply just to share excitement! I would totally recommend it!
